What's not to love

Happy Valentine's Day! What's not to Love...

Last but not least...truck photo

I wanted to get another picture of him in his Tonka Truck. Yeah it didn't go over that well this time. Priceless.

More party pics

had to share more pics of the party

Wesley turns 2!!!!!

I did it. I only missed a few months of not posting every month from 12-24 but I got most of the highlights. Wes has brightened our world so much from his big smile and his awesome hugs. He melts my heart everyday.

He had a Thomas the Train party. He picked out the theme himself. He had such a great time on his birthday. He loved all his presents. He even liked it when we sang him Happy Birthday. We had to do it two times per his request. He said "again".

Wes had his 2 year appt and he did so great! He hardly cried with the pricks and shots. He cried more when we had to take off his clothes. He hates to be naked!

Anyway I will update the blog hopefully this weekend but I just compared the stats with Nate's and I had to share:)

Wes's stats:
Weight: Drumroll.....30 1/2 pounds 75% (look at the difference with Nate!!!!! But this is when Nate had so many stomach issues too and Wes doesn't have any of that!!)
Height: 34.25 height 50% (he grew 2.5 inches since his 18 month appt!!! The dr was SHOCKED!!)
Head: 50.5 (90-97%)

Nate:
Height: 34 3/4 inches
Weight: 26 pounds
Head: 52 (I think this is what she said)
Here is the 24 things about Wesley:

1. He is now putting 3-4 words together. "Mama I want applesause" "wanna go downstairs" and my favorite one of all times "how about ..."
2. When you leave he asks for a hug and a kiss. Then sometimes he stops you one last time for another hug.
3. When he wants my attention and wants it RIGHT NOW he screams "MAMA MAMA MAMAAAAA". He will even do this when I am on the phone talking.
4. He is now taking baseballs to bed.
5. He only wants his mama to take him to bed now. He won't go to bed until I rock him goodnight
6. When we get upstairs for bed he says "come on mama brush teeth"
7. He thinks it is hilarious that when I am changing his diaper to "toot toot" on me. Such a boy!
8. He is getting his last set of molars
9. He loves to close doors and open them. When we are at a new house he will go around and shut all the doors.
10. He is now torturing his brother by taking his toys and running off with them.
11. He likes to go to pretend parties with his brother
12. He loves to play outside and asks all the time if he can go out. Cries if I tell him no.
13. When you put him in his car seat he will now ask you to "close the door"
14. He will tell you when he poops in his diaper "I have poop poop"
15. Hitting is new thing. When he gets mad he will hit you or the thing that is the closest to him.
16. He can throw things very well. Next National league pitcher??
17. He will tell you when he wants milk or water. Also with or without ice.
18. Now he doesn't like to get his hands dirty but if there is water around he will splash and splash in it.
19. He loves to put on character shirts. For his birthday I got him a new thomas the train shirt and he would not let me take it off for him to go to bed. The next morning was torture to take it off.
20. his favorite food is buddy fruits (applesause) and french fries.
21. His favorite movie at the moment on his dvd player is Lion King and Bug's Life
22. He can now do puzzles on the iPad by himself and is getting better at Angry birds.
23. He likes to play with playdough but I caught him eating it too.
24. He likes to play with the cat on the iPad that repeats words. When he is with Nate sitting on the couch they laugh and giggle so much. I don't like the app but I love hearing them laugh

Turned Wesley's carseat around....FINALLY

Wow I do have to say it was hard doing it for 2 years instead of the 1 year for Nate. But safety comes first for our kids. So the weekend before his birthday we decided to go ahead and turn him around. We placed him in and he looked very confused. He kept looking around not saying a word. Now he loves it and he doesn't have to watch movies in the mirror anymore. He is getting too big too fast!

Nate The Great and Wes no hands

It was my mom's birthday and we had everyone at our house for her birthday dinner. Well Nate was so excited to have a party and sing Happy Birthday. Instead he does this great performance instead. Nate the Great .

As I stated many times Wes hates to get his hands dirty. This just shows you how he decided to eat a cupcake. Look mom no hands!

Nate and his animals

Nate's new thing lately is playing with his imagination to a new level. He has never been that into all his stuff animals until now. He has them all over his bed and won't let you take any off. He sets them all up and talks to them and interacts. He even sets them up downstairs around the dining room table and has party's with them. Wes gets involved with the parties too.
Each night I have to go into his room and make sure he has enough room in his bed to turn over.

Cousin Christmas pic 2011

Every time we get together we do the awesome, energy shot of the cousins. At this time my flash decided to act funny so we have some dark and very light. Great to see the changes through the years. They are getting too big too fast!

Hanna Traditions

The Hanna adult men did a Tradition of making seven n seven's in honor of Grandpa Hanna and Jimmy's Pop.
Then after presents we went downstairs to see the train set that was 60 years old. This train set was Rich's when he was a child. It still works and it was so great to show the grandchildren a really cool train. You can't find these made like this anymore. Hopefully we can bring it out for many more years.

Here is too tradition...

Hanna Christmas 2011

The Hanna Christmas was so much fun this year with all the kids. They were so excited to see each other since it has been a very long time since the cousins have seen each other. We did all the presents and all the kids got so many great things. We are so blessed that we can all see each other during the Holidays. It was a day that was spent of eating and the kids playing their hearts out. Even uncle Brad took some time to show Kendall some drawing skills. Fun times!

Christmas with Maw, Kristin & Rodger

After watching the boys do Santa we all did breakfast together once Kristin and Rodger got to our house. We had a big Christmas breakfast feast. Then we opened presents. The boys got a lot of great stuff and their favorite was the fishing game from Kristin & Rodger and the Umbrella & boots from Maw. Then Kristin and Rodger gave Brad a smoker. Brad and Rodger then went out to a Mexican grocery store that was open and bought a Boston Butt. Later that afternoon GAP and Lynnsey joined us for our afternoon feast and the pork sandwiches were a huge hit!

Christmas morning 2011

What can I say but this was one of the best Christmas mornings at the Hanna house. Both boys were really into Christmas this year. Seeing their faces and watching them playing with all their toys brought tears to my eyes. This is all the reasons why I had kids and it makes me very happy. What a Wonderful Life.

Christmas Day 2011 - what did Santa bring?

Here are pics of what Santa brought the boys. I don't even know why Santa tried to separate the toys to 2 different places because it really didn't matter. Santa was very good to the boys!

Enough said!

Schloemer Christmas 2011

It is the Schloemer Annual Christmas. Glad we got over there a little bit because Grandaddy left earlier than usual. The kids got so many great things for Christmas this year from G-Daddy and Nanny. Their favorite gift is the car's suitcase and the Winnie the Pooh chair. We did our annual beer tasting once Kristin and Roger arrived. Great time spent with all the family.
