16 new things about Nate
1. Spitting is still here but not as bad. He mostly does it when we tell him no to something or he is getting really tired. Improvement.
2. He can count to TWO. He loves saying TWWWWWWWWWWOooooo. He will just be doing something and say it OR he is watching a show that is counting and will say TWOOOooooo
3. He can throw Gabbie's ball for her. But only on the hardwood. He grabs the ball and runs to the hardwood and throws it. He is so proud of himself.
4. He can say Gabbie but it is more like Gaaaghee. It is too cute!
5. New word in the past couple of days is Shoe. He says it constantly. He goes and get them and says it over and over again.
6. His favorite toy is the shape cookie jar. We work with him everyday to get the correct shapes into the hole. He tries very hard and has gotten it a couple of times. He is going to be a pro soon!
7. You ask him to go get his shoes and he finds it and brings it to you.
8. I tell him we are going upstairs and he runs to the gate to go up
9. He is starting to say Thank you when you give him things. Not yet perfect on this but getting there
10. He is now in a 6 wide shoe
11. I ask him if he wants to go outside and he goes to the door.
12. He is getting more of an opinion of what he wants or doesn't want. If you hand him something he just takes his hands and moves it side to side pushing it away
13. I ask him if he wants to watch a video and he crawls on top of the couch and sits there waiting for me to turn it on
14. He has never really had a big sweet tooth but his favorite cookie is oatmeal raisin. If I accidentally leave it out he reaches for it and cries until he gets one. I have learned to put them up fast. Out of sight out of mind.
15. The favorite thing for him to play with in our room is my hairdryer. He will drag it around and then try to dry his hair with it. He never plays with it plugged in.
16. This month I got another Nooj made just in case something happened with the other one because he loves it so much. Well he had regular Nooj in his hand and I handed him the new one and he looked at it and the new one. Kept looking at them back and forth and then threw the new one on the floor. I try it all the time and he always looks at their faces and he knows the difference. Smart boy!
